just a weird thought

Verses

Here are some short poems which I scribble when I am reluctant to use too many words. ;)

“Just a weird thought”

The more I listen

more silent I become.

The more I see

more is there to explore.

The longer I wait

more time things take.

The more I learn

deeper the ocean of knowledge seems.

The higher I reach

farther the horizons shift.

Will I ever get there?

Monsoon

A few days ago my dear and very talented friend Richard Ankers introduced me to this wonderful form of writing. 🙂 Here is my first Shadorma.
(I remember, Richard, 3/5/3/3/7/5 😉 😀 )

And that monsoon
I finally saw you
Standing there, drenched
In deep red
Of the inks of my letters
That you had never read.

Hearts

I have always loved haiku but never had the courage to actually write it.
I am now going to give it a try and would be posting a few haiku poems (or at least that’s what I think they are) on this blog.
You are welcome to share your thoughts in the comments section. 🙂

The cold night, warmed their hearts – with love.

Reflection

I travelled to the moon
In search of love, but only found
Your reflection.

Woods

Lost her way

deep in the woods;

found her soul.

Billion Stars

His sweet laughter

scattered in the night sky,

like a billion stars.

Paint

Mesmerized,
I watched him paint
Purple strokes in sky.

NOT FAR

Image

At some or the other point in our lives, we all feel tired of everything, sick of all troubles, frustrated of every situation and burdened by a burden too hard to bear.

This one goes out to all of those (myself included), dragging themselves through tough times, trying to get over a heartbreak, struggling to keep holding on.

May not be so well written, may sound childish, but trust me, my intentions are good. 😀 Take a deep breath and remember:

“when you are troubled by this world’s load

and feel your life is a scar.

Just remember the fact

nice days are not far.

When you are sad, find no place to go

        and feel like skidding car.

        Just remember the fact,

        nice days are not far.

When you want to fly

but fail inspite of tries,

feel like in a cage of iron bars.

Just remember the fact,

bright days are not far.

       When everyone around

       begins to frown,

feel like running from where you are.

       Just remember the fact,

       bright days are not far.

when you look up at the sky

wonder of the infinite

and wish to be a star.

Just remember the fact,

good days are not far.

When life is what you like

and you are happy with who you are.

      Just remember the fact,

good days are where you are. “

BY ME

This one is not for those who are reaaallllyy busy. It is nor for those who don’t cry for the past. It is also not for those who have a normal happy life.

It is for the insane, the tortured, the parnoid and the hurt. For those who toil, wonder and wander.

I am one of the second kind. Yeah, kinda sick. But I think it is not that bad to be sick in this way.

We have our own little imaginary world, where we can turn back time, rewind. Where we can find good and bad. Which we can visit anytime, any place. Where we are not scared to speak, take the blame or raise our voice. Where we can be what we want, without the fear of rejection. Where the sky need not be blue and the night need not be dark. Where we recall, reflect and redo the things we have already done.

And trust me, it is just a bliss to be there.

So drown me in, waves of the sea,

to a world where I can be free.

                      Blow me away, september breeze,

to a place where I can breathe.

Lift me up, oh silver light,

so I can make my life all-right.

I guess, normal or not, we all think like this at least once in our lives.
