Roads that stretch as far as sight
Covered in soothing shades
Walked with companions
Who make the day seem brighter
And the nights seem beautiful.
Oceans that conceal treasures
Of a thousand wonderful feelings
Deep in their mystic depths
Where only the brave dare to dive.
Skies that wrap the world
In blankets of blue and grey
Like a mother wraps her child
To keep her warm with love.
Such should be the desires
Of one’s life as a mortal
For these fragments are our chance
To taste those eternities
Which might very well
Be out of our petty reaches.
