Bells tolled, a raven flew

Out of the grey cemetery, into blue

The priest spoke, an unknown tongue

In the sky behind him, a red comet plunged

A dog cried, a cat hissed

A human sobbed, someone missed

Eyes fill to the brim

Vexed by my sullen plight

Fear began to blur sight

Towards the grave, I stepped

To take a better look at the dead

Someone like me, I saw

In there, like me, without flaw

Now, frantic chants by the priest

Cries came, even from trees

A branch snapped

My shoulder tapped

Before I could turn

My neck began to burn

I slipped into the grave, utterly surprised

the body vanished, while I lay there paralysed.
